Cashew Nuts

Cashews are kidney-shaped nuts that are popularly consumed worldwide. These nuts come from the cashew tree (Anacardium occidentale), native to Brazil but now cultivated in various tropical regions. Cashews are nutrient-dense nuts, containing around 160 calories per one-ounce serving. With 13 grams of mainly heart-healthy fats, 4 grams of protein, and 1 gram of dietary fiber, cashews contribute to a well-rounded diet. Additionally, they provide essential minerals like copper, manganese, magnesium, and phosphorus.
